Sports Injury Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is an effective treatment in sports injuries such as tendonitis, shin splints, muscle strain, ligament sprains, rotator cuff injuries and many more. Electrotherapy & Therapeutic Ultrasound

Electrotherapy

Used in rehabilitation clinics, electrotherapy has been used for decades. It is very effective in removing muscular spasm, retraining and strengthening muscles that have been over used or injured. When used with massage therapy it can greatly reduce healing times, reduce sensitivity during treatment and prevent treatment after soreness.

Therapeutic Ultrasound

A long proven and non-invasive modality, therapeutic ultrasound can be used when massage therapy is contraindicated or the area is still too tender. The control and reduction of inflammation is a major effect of therapeutic ultrasound. When used with massage therapy it can prepare the injured area by removing inflammation, warming the area and helping to remove muscular protective spasm very gently.
